Step 1

Preparation:
1.NOLO CV1;
2.An Android phone with NOLO HOME installed and OTG function enabled;
3. Launch NOLO HOME, download and install the game of your choice;
4.A mobile VR headset. This user guide applies to all cardboard style VR headsets;
5.Stable Internet connection (Wifi or cellular);
PS: NOLO devices need NOT be plugged in to a wall outlet to work. The only thing it requires is Internet connection. With NOLO, you can You can enjoy 6-DoF VR games whenever, wherever.

Step 2

Setting up NOLO devices:
Step 1: Turn on NOLO Base Station: Place the NOLO Base Station, the round shaped object, at the edge of a horizontal surface, preferably at shoulder height, facing the gaming area. Then press the power button to turn it on. The cuelight should turn green from red.

Step 3

Step 2: Turn on Controllers: Press the system button on both controllers. The cuelights should turn green.

Step 4

Step 3: Mount the Headset Marker: Remove the adhesive cover on the Headset Marker Mount, attach the mount at the center of your headset, press for 5 seconds till it's fully adhered. Then mount the Headset Marker onto the Headset Marker Mount.

Step 5

Step 4: OTG cable: Pick the shortest cable that comes with NOLO, which is the OTG cable, connect the Headset Marker with your Android phone. Once connected, the cuelight on the Headset Marker should turn green. And NOLO device setup is all done.

Step 6

Launching a 6-DoF VR game for the first time:
Step 1: Launch the game downloaded from NOLO HOME: Lauch the game, allow USB access on the pop up window (if any) and set it as the default choice. Then put your phone into the headset. PS: If the game accidentally exits, just reopen it.

Step 7

Step 2: Set ground level in the game: Place your headset (with Headset Marker on it) 2 meters away from the Base Station, on the floor, directly facing the front side of the Base Station with nothing standing in between. Then press the pair button on the Headset Marker to set ground level in the game.

Step 8

Step 3: All done! Enjoy the game! PS: If the orientation of the controllers are off in the game, just point the controllers towards the Base Station, and double click the system button on both controllers respectively.
